My very first Shimeji!
What is a Shimeji?Shimeji is a Windows desktop mascot that freely wanders and plays around the screen. The mascot is very configurable; its actions are defined through xml and its animations/images can be customized.Even though this is my first time making a Shimeji, I decided to push it and mess around with the actions.xml and behaviours.xml files to add some custom animations.
I even added blinking animations.A shimeji that blinks!
The sprites were originally drawn in Paint Tool SAI, but they turned out to have a fuzzy outline around them which I couldn't get rid of. In the end, I had to redraw everything in Flash.

Fortunately, everything turned out fine after that.

How to use1. After downloading, extract the folder anywhere with a program like
WinZip or
WinRar.
2. Then, inside the folder, you should find a file called
Shimeji-ee.exe. Double-click that to execute it.
3. A window should then pop up asking you which character to select. Karl should be the only choice there anyway.

So, choose him, and click
Ok.
He should then fall from the top of the screen.

NoteThis Shimeji was made from the Shimeji-ee, meaning all his files are in English.
And his options are easily accessible from just right-clicking him.
I might make some changes if I ever see any need to.
